By accessing and using the Purohits Platform ("Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the Platform.

2. User Accounts

2.1 Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

2.3 Account Types

• Customer Accounts: For users seeking to book religious ceremony services
• Purohit Accounts: For service providers offering religious ceremony services

3. Services Provided

3.1 Platform Services

Our Platform connects customers with Purohits (priests) for religious ceremonies and services. We provide a marketplace platform but are not directly involved in the provision of religious services.

3.2 Booking Services

Customers can browse available services, view Purohit profiles, and book ceremonies through our Platform. All bookings are subject to acceptance by the Purohit.

3.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through our payment gateway partner (Razorpay). The Platform charges a service fee on each transaction as described in our pricing policy.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate booking details and ceremony requirements
• Be present at the scheduled time and location
• Make timely payments for booked services
• Treat Purohits with respect and professionalism
• Provide honest and fair reviews

4.2 Purohit Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate profile information and credentials
• Provide services as described and agreed upon
• Maintain professional conduct with customers
• Update availability calendar regularly
• Respond to booking requests in a timely manner
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Booking and Cancellation Policy

5.1 Booking Confirmation

Bookings are confirmed only after payment is received and the Purohit accepts the booking request.

5.2 Cancellation by Customer

Customers may cancel bookings according to the cancellation policy. Refund amounts depend on the timing of cancellation relative to the ceremony date.

5.3 Cancellation by Purohit

If a Purohit cancels a confirmed booking, customers are entitled to a full refund. Purohits who frequently cancel bookings may face account suspension.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Service Fees

The Platform charges a service fee on each transaction. This fee is automatically deducted from the total payment amount.

6.2 Purohit Payouts

Purohits receive payment after deducting platform fees. Payouts are processed according to our payout schedule and require valid bank account information.

6.3 Refunds

Refunds are processed according to our refund policy. Processing times may vary depending on the payment method and bank.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
• Use automated systems to access the Platform
• Post false or misleading information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Circumvent payment processing to avoid fees

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Purohits Platform and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with operating the Platform.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE PLATFORM, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

Our total liability for any claims related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.

11. Dispute Resolution

We provide a dispute resolution system for issues between customers and Purohits. Users agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through our platform before pursuing other remedies.

Any disputes not resolved through our system shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [Your City].

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
